Marcia began her career in education as an elementary school teacher in kindergarten through third grade classrooms. She went on to teach preschool, was the director of a small private preschool, and worked as an Education Specialist for homeschooling families. Marcia loves teaching preschool and was thrilled to return to the classroom here at Beginnings School. In her free time, Marcia enjoys taking long walks with her dog, going to the beach, gardening and tackling projects around her home. She also volunteers for the local F.I.S.H. (Friends in Service Helping) organization as a driver who transports housebound elders to their medical appointments.
"Teaching and the field of education has always been a passion of mine. The rewards of watching students grow from the beginning of the school year to the end are unsurmountable. To touch young lives and to hopefully help mold them into the people they will become are a tall task and a challenge that I happily undertake."
