I am thrilled to welcome you to the 2019-2020 School Year!
The energy and creativity of the teachers and students at Beginnings make our school a very special place for children and families. One of our most unique features at Beginnings is our research-based begin to ECSEL (Emotional, Cognitive, Social Early Learning) program, which recognizes the significance of both academic and emotional development in the early years.
As an essential part of our globally recognized begin to ECSEL program, Beginnings students learn how to regulate, recognize, understand and express their emotions while also learning how to effectively communicate with others, work together as a part of a community, solve problems and understand how to show respect and compassion for others.
As our students develop a true love of learning, they are also following their curiosity, discovering the world around them, and learning to think and solve problems creatively. Indoor and outdoor creative play and exploration are a big part of our days, especially in our new beautiful Discovery Nature Preserve . We hope you will come visit!
At Beginnings, we know the importance of a strong connection between families and school. Our teachers are there to communicate regularly with parents and are always available for questions, guidance and support. Please feel free to reach out to your child's classroom teacher, or me directly at any time during the school year.
I look forward to sharing what everyone at Beginnings knows will be a wonderful year,
Beginnings School Director
